These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth. At ESOMS, we have a COVID-19\u00a0Safety Plan to help to\u00a0protect our staff, patients and other visitors during the current pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Our COVID-19\u00a0Safety Plan provides\u00a0advice on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hygiene and safety<\/li>\n<li>physical distancing<\/li>\n<li>recording contact details of staff and patients<\/li>\n<li>staff wellbeing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>We are now officially registered as a COVID Safe practice.
