This course aims to assist general dental practitioners obtain practical information relating to the identification, investigation and initial management of cancers of the oral cavity. Dr Leinkram, together with Professor Clark and Associate Professor Howes, was invited to present the second part of the course. They discussed reconstructive techniques including the latest developments in 3D technology as well as post-operative care and management of patients with oral cancer. Dr Leinkram’s topic of discussion was “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Following Head and Neck Cancer Treatment”.
